1. Zvonimir Boban
Zvonimir Boban is the first Croatian player to defend AC Milan. He played for the Rossoneri between 1991 and 2001.
In a span of ten years, Boban was a huge success at the San Siro. He presented four Serie A titles, three Supercoppa Italiana, one European Champions League, and once the UEFA Super Cup.
Boban also played 251 appearances in all competitions for the Rossoneri. Of that amount, he managed to score 30 goals and 35 assists.
2. Rui Costa
After Boban, another player who wears the number 10 shirt at AC Milan is Rui Costa. Playing as an attacking midfielder, Rui Costa was brought in from the Fiorentina club in 2001.
Redeemed for a fee of 41 million euros, Rui Costa defended the Rossoneri in a span of five years. The Portuguese player was also considered successful during his career at the San Siro.
