Liverpool are rumored to be overhauling their squad this summer. The reshuffle plan cannot be separated from the difficulties experienced by the Reds this season.
Liverpool is currently having a bad season. The club based at Anfield has failed to defend the Premier League trophy.
Not only that, Liverpool are now struggling to finish in the top four. Mohamed Salah and colleagues are currently stranded in seventh place in the Premier League standings.
It is estimated that Liverpool will bring in a number of new players. However, they are reportedly also ready to release a number of their players.
Five players will be sold for income. Who are they?
5 Liverpool Players That Can Be Sold
1. Xherdan Shaqiri
Xherdan Shakiri did not get a place in Liverpool's main squad. The former Inter Milan and Bayern Munich are not Jurgen Klopp's first choice this season.
This season, the Swiss player has played 21 times in all competitions. However, he mostly played as a substitute.
Shaqiri was unable to compete with Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Madio Sane or Diogo Jota. It's hard to see him playing regularly anytime soon.
2. Divock Origi
Divock Origi has strengthened Liverpool since 2014. However, the Belgian striker has always had trouble breaking into the main squad.

This season, Origi has not played much under Jurgen Klopp. He has only appeared nine times in the Premier League so far.
Origi's contract with Liverpool still lasts until 2024. However, a separation is likely to be a good option for both parties.
3. Naby Keita
Naby Keita was bought by Liverpool at a very expensive price. However, his contribution at Anfield so far has not been that much.
Keita often entered the treatment room after coming to Anfield. As a result, the player has difficulty showing his best performance.
This season, Keita has only appeared 10 times for Liverpool. Seeing his injury history, the Reds must bring in a better midfielder than Keita.
4. Takumi Minamino
Takumi Minamino did not get the chance to play regularly at Liverpool. Ahasil, he left the Reds in the January transfer market yesterday.
