5. Edwin van der Sar

Edwin Van der Sar was signed by Manchester United in 2005 from Fulham for 4 million euros. The Dutch goalkeeper joined when he was no longer young, namely 34 years.

However, Van der Sar answered those doubts with achievement. He was able to present many trophies for the Red Devils.

Van der Sar's title collection includes four Premier League titles, the Champions League trophy to the Club World Cup. He made 266 appearances during his six years at the club.

4. Tomasz Kuszczak

Tomasz Kuszczak joined Manchester United from West Bromwich in 2006. The Red Devils spent 4.3 million euros to bring the goalkeeper from Poland to Old Trafford.

However, Kuszczak was never the first choice between MU's goal. He warmed the bench until he was finally released at the end of the 2012 season to Brigthton & Hove Albion.

Barthez is not as great as Peter Schmeichel, but he was able to present two Premier League trophies for Manchester United, namely in the 2000/01 and 2002/03 seasons.
